About
Hi I’m Dr. Christina Weir, ND
I would like to introduce myself if you are reading this for the first time. I am a naturopathic doctor and am passionate about working hard for my patients. I draw from life experiences, training’s, certifications and show up each day for my patients and their health.
I grew up in North Vancouver and after completing my BSc at the University of Victoria I have lived on Vancouver Island for many years. I completed the four year naturopathic medical degree (ND) at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.
I am avidly interested in human emotion and experience. In addition to naturopathic medicine I have training and certification in compassionate inquiry therapy, kundalini yoga, craniosacral therapy and integrated body psychotherapy (IBP). These are techniques that focus on the connection between the mind-body-spirit aspect of health and allow a better full picture understanding of what is happening alongside physical symptoms.
My practice is in general naturopathic medicine, however I have developed a strong focus in mental health, auto-immune conditions, chronic infections, adjunctive cancer care, paediatric and Women’s Health. As a naturopathic doctor, I work closely with my patients in a stress-free and comfortable environment to get to the underlying causes of health conditions and to support them throughout their healing process.
I started Qualicum Beach Naturopathic Clinic in order to make naturopathic medicine affordable and accessible to the Oceanside community. I offer direct billing to most insurance providers and maintain my dispensary at affordable prices.
I am mother of two young boys, I have a hobby farm with my loving animals, I grow food and I know how busy life can get. I do believe however that it is necessary to set time aside to take care of yourself; you take care of your loved ones best when you are feeling good and refreshed yourself.
